Hi there! I’m Toby and for over 30 years, I’ve been making words do what they’re supposed to—tell a story, sell a product, explain a concept, or at least stop people from clicking away in boredom. I write, I strategize, I solve problems. And if you’ve ended up here, chances are you need at least one of those things.
I started Words and Ideas back when the internet still made weird dial-up noises and people used the phrase information superhighway with a straight face.
Since then, I’ve built a career out of writing, content strategy, brand development, and sustainability advocacy—because nothing fuels me quite like exposing nonsense and making people care about the things they buy, believe, and invest in.
